Description

Recommend approval to procure ten pickup trucks from J.C. Lewis Ford in the amount of $249,447.00.  These vehicles were approved via a 2019 Service Enhancement Request.  The pickup trucks will be used for the newly created jobs for the following departments: Code Compliance Department (3), Greenscapes Division (4), and Public Works and Water Resources Department (3).

This project was not identified as an SBE project because the requirement of three certified SBEs could not be met at the time this bid was released.

Fleet Vehicle Addition(s) 10 vehicles in total: 

  • 4 full-size trucks, half ton, regular cab, long bed (Ford F Series, Chevy C Series, Dodge Ram Series)
  • 3 mid-size trucks, quarter ton, short bed (Ford Ranger, Chevy Colorado, Toyota Tacoma)
  • 1 full-size trucks, 3/4 ton, regular cab, short bed, four wheel drive (Ford F Series, Chevy C Series, Dodge Ram Series) 
  • 1 full-size truck, 1 ton, regular cab, short bed pickup, four wheel drive  (Ford F Series, Chevy C Series, Dodge Ram Series)
  • 1 full-size truck, 1/2 ton, crew cab, four wheel drive (Ford F Series, Chevy C Series, Dodge Ram Series)
