Description

This contract is for Microsoft Enterprise Software with Insight Public Sector, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $1,515,000. This will be used by the Innovation & Technology Department to provide to support the usage of Microsoft products by all City Departments. This will allow all City employees to utilize Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office, and other platforms. This will also include an annual spend for Azure. Azure is the cloud computing services component of Microsoft. The Microsoft EA agreement is being utilized by the City of Savannah. The Azure environment provides scalable infrastructure for the City’s cloud-based services, such as MySavannah and virtual computing resources from our public-facing devices. Utilizing this cloud-based environment provides increased security, expands accessibility to daily operational resources, and delivers a platform for disaster recovery. This is the final renewal of a 3-year contract. This contract was originally approved on July 1, 2023, with an expiration date of June 30, 2026. Per section 2-4152 of the City’s Purchasing Ordinance, the City may purchase goods or services through the use of a cooperative contract. The contract used for this procurement is an Omnia Contract # 23-6692-03 for technology products, services, solutions, and related products and services. It was competitively bid by Omnia, and it expires on April 30, 2028. Delivery: As requested. Terms: Net 30 days. The vendor is:
