Description

This contract is for an Energy Performance Representative contract with 2KB Energy Services, LLC in the amount of $161,480. The proposed services include assistance in identifying a bundle of City facilities most in need of energy efficiency upgrades, solicitation, and selection of an energy services company, conducting an investment-grade audit of City facilities, and negotiating a contract with the selected energy performance company that will be responsible for making energy efficiency and mechanical improvements to the facilities.

The energy performance contracting process will result in improved performance and energy efficiency of several City facilities at one time. The intent is that the verified savings realized from the efficiency measures will pay for the facility improvements over time and that the City will incur no upfront cost associated with the implementation of these improvements.
