| Description Recommend approval to procure a small meter test bench from Mars Company in the amount of $107,008.00. This equipment will be used by the Public Works and Water Resources Department to perform accuracy testing on commercial, institutional, industrial, and residential water meters in the City’s water distribution system. Water meter testing is required per the City of Savannah State Water Supply/Well permits and will ensure individual meters are reading accurate water amounts being delivered to the customer. Water meters are what determine the amount of water and sewer revenue to be collected. Accuracy of these meters is vital. | |
