Description
Recommend approval to procure a comprehensive Backup and Disaster Recovery (BDR) solution from MGT Impact Solutions in the total amount of $301,128, which includes three (3) years of service, to support the Airport’s critical information technology infrastructure. The proposed BDR solution includes on-site backups, cloud backups, and Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) protection. This solution is required to satisfy cybersecurity and regulatory requirements, meet established disaster recovery time objectives, support future system growth, and provide streamlined system management and usability. The solution will deliver secure data backup, system redundancy, and rapid recovery capabilities to ensure business continuity in the event of a cyber incident, system failure, natural disaster, or other emergency. This investment is essential to protecting critical airport systems and operational data while minimizing downtime and operational disruptions. Staff issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) from December 29, 2025, through February 12, 2026. A total of seventeen (17) proposals were received. Based on the evaluation criteria established in the RFP, MGT Impact Solutions was determined to be the highest-ranked proposer. This is a 2026 budgeted item of $150,000.
