Recommend approval to procure new and replacement mobile data terminals (MDTs) from Law and Order Technology, LLC in the amount of $392,733.The mobile data terminals (MDT), would be used for the police department and the fire department. The replacements would be 68 for the police department and 2 for the fire department. The MDT’s will allow for users to communicate with Central Dispatch while providing real time GPS location mapping and information relevant to the current task. Per Section 2-4154 of the City’s Purchasing Ordinance, the City is authorized to procure goods or services The contract used for this procurement is the State Contract #99999-SPD-SPD0000161-0009, which expires March 14,2026.
