25. Motion to Procure One Roll-Off Container Truck from Roberts Truck Centers (Event No. 5205)

Recommend approval to procure one roll-off container truck from Roberts Truck Centers in the amount of $135,265.32. The roll-off container truck will be used by the Fleet Services Department to replace a unit that is no longer economical to repair that is assigned to the Refuse Disposal Division. Per the awarded bidder’s pricing, the unit price is $135,265.32, and the vendor has agreed to hold that pricing. The original specifications allowed the City the option to purchase additional units in 2018.

Council approved the original purchase of four roll-off container trucks on August 3, 2017 in the amount of $541,061.28.
