Procurement Appreciation Month is celebrated in the month of March nationally and its intent is to recognize and thank procurement professionals for the work they accomplish throughout the year, which usually goes without recognition. Procurement professionals are instrumental to the success of organizations. From the development of a solicitation, to the evaluation of submitted proposals, working with qualified suppliers, and the awarding of contracts, procurement has a significant impact on an organization’s bottom line.
