Recommend approval to procure furniture from Exemplis Corp. c/o Mason, Inc. in the amount of $31,637.34 and National Office Furniture in the amount of $130,997.12 for a total amount of $162,634.46. The furniture will be used by the Office of Capital Projects Management to furnish the Pennsylvania Avenue Resource Center with training tables, office workstations, café and game room furniture, desks, and chairs.  Exemplis Corp. and National Office Furniture are approved vendors under Georgia’s statewide approved contracts program.  These statewide contracts are established for convenience and are available for use by all State and Local public entities.  The State of Georgia used a competitive bidding process to select these vendors to serve as providers of these commodities.  Mason, Inc. is a local City of Savannah vendor who will oversee the ordering, delivery, and installation of the furniture. 

A DBE goal was not established due to the absence of subcontracting opportunity.
