Description

Recommend approval to renew an annual maintenance agreement for MS Govern software with MS Govern in the amount of $95,827.55. The Information Technology Department uses the services under this agreement to provide maintenance and support for the Govern Revenue applications for property taxes, central cashiering, self reported taxes, and utility billing. This is a sole source procurement because MS Govern is the original developer of this proprietary software and is the only vendor that can perform maintenance on it. It is critical to have maintenance and support from the original provider to ensure authorized, knowledgeable, and timely vendor support when is necessary.
