| Description Recommend approval to purchase two marked police pickup trucks and two 15-passenger vans from Wade Ford in the amount of $122,289.60. The Fleet Services Department will use these vehicles to replace police units that are no longer economical to maintain and repair. These police patrol vehicles will be used by the Savannah Police Department for routine law enforcement services. Per Section 2-4154 of the City’s Purchasing Ordinance, the City may purchase goods or services through the use of a state contract. The contracts used for this procurement are the State of Georgia contract for police pursuit vehicles (Contract # 99999-SPD-ES40199409-003) which expires August 15, 2020 and the State of Georgia contract for administrative vehicles (Contract # 99999-SPD-ES40199373-009S) which expires November 30, 2020. Both were competitively bid by the State of Georgia.
