Description The contract is for Tide to Town Equitable Growth, Enhanced Community Engagement & Project Phase services in the amount of $249,726. Once fully developed, the Tide to Town Urban Trail System will provide a safe, efficient, and inclusive trail system that promotes connectivity, community resilience, human health, active recreation, and localized economic vibrancy. This contract will allow the City to develop a Tide to Town implementation strategy to include:
Recognizing the community-wide impacts of the project, this procurement will ensure that the voice of residents informs the project; phases of the project are manageable and coordinated; and equitable growth is promoted by prioritizing generational wealth building and allowing existing businesses and residents to stay in place.
The method used for this procurement was the request for proposals (RFP), which evaluates criteria in addition to cost. The proposals were evaluated on the basis of the proposer’s qualifications and experience, methodology and understanding of the scope of work, references, and DBE participation. Four (4) proposals were received in response to this RFP. All proposals were reviewed and fully evaluated by a selection committee of City staff. One (1) proposal did not score the minimum amount to be moved forward. The proposal was advertised, opened, and reviewed. Delivery: As needed. Terms: Net 30 days.
