13. Petition of Josh Yellin on behalf of Orchard Group, Inc. for a Future Land Use Map Amendment of 0.32 acres at 912 Drayton Street (20044 20008) from Traditional Neighborhood to Traditional Commercial in Aldermanic District 2 (26-002038-ZA).

Description

The Petitioner requests an amendment of the Future Land Use Map (FLUM) from Traditional Neighborhood to Traditional Commercial to support the proposed zoning map amendment to TC-2 (Traditional Commercial-2) for the reuse of an existing structure for a banquet hall.  The property is located in the Victorian District and includes a large structure built in 1980 with an under-roof area of just over 10,300 square feet. The structure was previously in use as a Masonic Temple. The site is located within the Urban Core Character Area. 

The Petition was filed was filed concurrently with a request to amend the zoning map to TC-2 (26-002039-ZA).

 

Recommendation

On June 2, 2026, the Planning Commission recommended approval of the request to amend the FLUM from a designation of Traditional Neighborhood to Traditional Commercial.
