Description This is for contract modification No. 1 for Body Cameras, Tasers, & Digital Evidence System with Axon Plus (D) in an amount of $101,446. This modification will enhance the body-worn cameras (BWC) by adding GPS location services and the ability to view BWC’s live from remote locations. This service will enhance public safety services by providing an additional accountability tool. The ability to view BWC’s that are in record mode from remote locations will allow supervisors to maintain situational awareness and supervise officers’ actions. The original five-year contract in the amount of $1,739,347.88 was approved by City Council on October 16, 2014, and started on November 20, 2018. Contract modification No. 1 would raise the amount of the contract from $1,739,347.88 to $1,840,793.63.
