This contract is to procure replacement Mobile Data Terminals from Law and Order Technology, LLC in the amount of $315,000. The mobile data terminals (MDT) used by the City of Savannah Police Department, allows officers to communicate with Central Dispatch while providing real-time GPS location mapping and information relevant to the current task. These devices are necessary for the Police Department to assist citizens in the field. The Information and Technology Department is requesting to purchase 70 Panasonic CF-33 mobile data terminals and 8 docking devices.

Per Section 2-4154 of the City’s Purchasing Ordinance, the City may purchase goods or services through the use of a state contract. The contract used for this procurement is a State of Georgia contract for end-user computers (Contract # 99999-SPD-SPD0000161-0009). It was competitively bid by the State of Georgia and expires on June 2, 2023. Delivery: As requested.  Terms:  Net 30 days.
