Description This contract is to procure a GKD Dryer Belt from Huber Technology in the amount of $70,200. The Water Reclamation Staff will use the belt in the sludge dryer located at the President Street Plant. The dryer belt is used to convey bio-solids throughout the length of the dryer for drying. When the solid dryer is offline, the cost of hauling wet sludge to the landfill is $2870 a day versus $175 a day. When the system is online and running, the department averages 10 to 20 tons a day.
Delivery: As needed. Terms: Net 30 days.
