Description Recommend approval to award an engineering contract for the Georgetown sewer improvements to EMC Engineering Services, Inc. in the amount of $201,099.50. This contract will allow the City to provide wastewater capacity to the southwest quadrant of the City. The Travis Field treatment plant is currently in the design phase and will be constructed in two to three years, which necessitates improvements to the Georgetown sewer system. No numerical DBE goals were established for this project, but proposers were encouraged to achieve the highest possible DBE participation and were allotted a maximum of 10 points in the evaluation criteria. Based on the proposed schedule of DBE participation submitted by the recommended proposer, the overall DBE participation for this project will be 18.01%. | |
