| Description Recommend approval to award an annual contract for backflow preventers to Ferguson Waterworks in the estimated amount of $157,802.01. The backflow preventers will be used by the Public Works and Water Resources Department to prevent reverse flow of water in City water laterals, and prevent polluted water from entering the potable water system. Without backflow preventers, drinking water and plumbing systems will become contaminated and unusable. No DBE goal was established for this contract due to the absence of subcontracting opportunity. The contract term shall be from June 20, 2019 through December 31, 2019. | |
