The City of Savannah proudly recognizes the successful completion of the 12-week Bridge to Success Student Internship Program by 8 students from Savannah State University, Georgia Southern University, Kennesaw State University, University of Georgia, and Millsaps College . As part of the City’s Hire Savannah initiative, this program provides structured, hands-on experiences that allow students to explore municipal government operations while gaining practical skills aligned with their areas of study.
During the program, interns made meaningful contributions across multiple City departments, including:

- Water Resources
- Information and Public Affairs Department
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclucsion Office
