Motion to Approve Consumption on Premises Liquor, Beer and Wine License with Sunday Sales for Jonathan Massey of CAVU Hospitality t/a Bull Street Taco

Jonathan Massey for CAVU Hospitality t/a Bull Street Taco, requesting liquor, beer and wine (drink) license with Sunday sales at 1608 Bull Street, which is located between 33rd Street and 34th Street in District 2. The applicant plans to operate as full service restaurant. (New location/ owner)

The applicant received Special Use Approval by the Zoning Board of Appeals on October 27, 2016, with condition that the restaurant will use enclosed waste containers within an approved enclosure, and use filtration on the required kitchen hood sufficient to remove odors prior to venting. This location is not in compliance with all distance requirements, as it is within 100 yards of Sacred Heart Church. However, the Alcohol Ordinance allows for an exemption for a restaurant with seating for at least 40 people, which this restaurant contains.

No concerns were noted from the Neighborhood Associations or SCMPD.
