Strategic Priority Good Government
Description The Mayor and Aldermen approved the adoption of the City of Savannah Zoning Ordinance and the Official Zoning Map of the City of Savannah referred to as NewZO during a Zoning Hearing held on June 20, 2019. The new City of Savannah Zoning Ordinance and Official Zoning Map of the City of Savannah are available to review at www.newzo.org. Once the 2nd reading occurs, Mayor and Aldermen will repeal the existing zoning ordinance and map and adopt the new City of Savannah Zoning Ordinance and Official Zoning Map of the City of Savannah (NewZO) which will be implemented on September 1, 2019.
