Waters at Gateway, LP has requested a water and sewer agreement for the Waters at Gateway – Offsite Infrastructure project. This is the off-site portion of infrastructure required to loop the water lines serving this 274 unit apartment complex. These water lines will provide improved water quality and enhanced fire protection. A similar water and sewer agreement, for the on-site water system, was approved by Council on October 25, 2018. Upsizing of the off-site and on-site water lines will support future development in the area. The City has agreed to pay $165,528.94, which is the cost for the water line upsizing from 8” to 16”. The agreement is consistent with policy directives given by the Mayor and Aldermen and has been reviewed and approved by the City Attorney for legal format.
