Description This contract is for a Casey North Basin Study - Model and Inundation Mapping Update with Hussey Gay Bell in the amount of $105,000. Hussey Gay Bell completed the original Casey North Basin Study in 2013. Due to Stormwater Management Model (SWMM) software updates, changes in existing conditions, new data associated with Hurricane Matthew, acquisition of updated topographic information and improvements in drainage modeling technology, and update of the existing basin hydraulic model becomes critical. The new and more accurate model will provide 2,10, 50, and 100-year rain event peak water elevations to assist development site designs and COS flood prevention programs, it will also provide drainage improvements recommendations and cost estimates.
This is a sole source procurement because Hussey Gay Bell completed the original model and is familiar with the basin layout.
