| Title 24. Authorize the City Manager to Execute Contract Modification No. 1 for the Installation of Electrical Receptacles for the Expansion of the City's Camera System with Aiken Harper in the Amount of $65,712. Aiken Harper is installing electrical receptacles to power the City's camera equipment in the Housing Authority of Savannah (HAS) properties. | Description This is for Contract Modification No. 1 to procure the installation of electrical receptacles for the expansion of the City's Camera System with Aiken Harper for $65,712. Aiken Harper is installing electrical receptacles to power camera equipment in HAS properties. These receptacles will tap into the existing electrical services that are in their respective Housing Authority of Savannah (HAS) owned communities. This utilizes the recent MOU the City has with HAS for this purpose. As for Baker St. Park, Aiken Harper is building a new electrical service and branch circuit infrastructure to provide power for camera equipment and lighting in the park. This is being funded by the Public Safety & Community Violence Reduction Grant Program (PSCVRG). This event was approved in Council, on May 23rd, 2024, in the amount of $1,192,330. With this modification, the new annual total will be $1,258,042. | |
