Description

This is for the approval of an annual contract for the Benton Boulevard Resurfacing Project with C.W. Mathews Contracting Company in an amount not to exceed $1,763,160.

The Street Maintenance Department will utilize this contract for milling, paving and the resurfacing of Benton Boulevard. This project will cover 2.25 miles from the City limits to Pooler City limits to Highlands Boulevard and the work will be performed at night to avoid daily heavy traffic volumes which will expedite the completion of the project.

The bid was advertised, opened, and reviewed. This contract is for one (1) year and will expire on January 1, 2027, or until the project’s completion. Terms: Net 30 days. Delivery: As requested:

This project will be funded by GDOT’s Local Road Assistance Administration (LRA) grant. LRA funds require.
