The Savannah Airport Commission recommends approval of a contract with Holland and Holland, Inc for $160,800.00 to install an automated car wash. 

The automated car wash with liquid recovery system will be installed at the Thrifty Car Rental maintenance facility on Ida J. Gadsden Drive.  All of the rental car agencies, with the exception of Thrifty, have car wash systems at their respective facilities. These systems were installed in 2013 as part of the refurbishment project as either new or replacement systems that dated to the original construction of the buildings. Thrifty's building was designed for a car wash system but the company decided not to install a system until now, which is due to the increased handling of vehicles. Currently the company is hand-washing all vehicles, which has become inefficient and labor-intensive. The new car wash system will be paid for using Customer Facility Charge (CFC) funds.  The following bids were received:
