| Description Recommend approval to procure a marked Police SUV from Wade Ford in the amount of $38,658. The Traffic Division (Heat Unit) of Savannah Police Department and will use the unit to provide public safety, law enforcement and security for the citizens of Savannah. The marked police vehicle serves a critical function under emergency conditions. This vehicle will replace vehicle 7410 which is no longer economical to repair. This procurement was made through a cooperative purchasing agreement with Sourcewell. Cooperative purchasing is authorized as an appropriate procurement method in Division 10 Section 4-4152 of the City of Savannah’s purchasing ordinance. The contract was competitively bid by Sourcewell and awarded to Wade Ford. The contract expires on August 22, 2022. Wade Ford (Smyrna, GA)(D) $38,658 (D) Indicates non-local, non-DBE business. Recommend approval.
