| Description Recommend approval to renew two annual contracts for the purchase of gasoline and diesel fuel with Sommers Oil Company in for up to $4,682,754, and Barrett Oil Distributors for up to $2,006,894. The contracts will allow the Fleet Services Department to procure fuel for the three fueling locations (City Lot, Sallie Mood and Police Headquarters) that will be utilized by various City departments to fuel equipment for daily operations. In addition, the contracts will also allow various City departments to procure fuel for smaller capacity tanks, generators, etc. This is a cooperative bid published by Chatham County and awarded by the Board of Commissioners of Chatham County on May 18, 2018 to Sommers Oil Company and Barrett Oil Distributors. Savannah City Council originally approved this contract on October 11, 2018. This contract expires on January 27, 2022 and has two renewal options available.
