13. Authorize the City Manager to Execute a Contract for the Procurement of a Rough Terrain Forklift with Low Country JCB in the Amount of $87,505. This rough terrain forklift will be utilized by the Water Reclamation Department and driven over uneven and rocky surfaces during the installation and removal of pumps and the loading and offloading of chemicals. Description

This contract is for the procurement of a rough terrain forklift with Low Country JCB in the amount of $87,505. This rough terrain forklift will be utilized by the Water Reclamation Department and driven over uneven and rocky surfaces. It will be used during the installation and removal of pumps, and the loading and offloading of chemicals. The rough terrain forklift will be replacing unit 0813 which is on the FY23 vehicle replacement list.

 

The contract used for this procurement is a Sourcewell contract # 040319-JCB for Medium Duty Construction Equipment. Per section 2-4152 of the City’s Purchasing Ordinance, the City may purchase goods or services through the use of a cooperative contract. It was competitively bid by Sourcewell and expires on May 31, 2023. Delivery: As Requested. Terms: Net 30 days.
