These billboards are located on Highway 278 in Bluffton, SC, and Highway 170 at Oldfield and are used to promote new airlines, routes, parking perks, and SAV to the Bluffton/HHI markets. There was a renewal request for 2025 placed in December, which has been approved. The Commission requested that staff work on securing these locations for a longer period. This proposal will extend the contract for an additional 2 years (2026-2027). Payment for the 2026 contract will be $288,314 and increase to $296,920 for the 2027 contract. The inclusion of these years will be covered under the 2026 and 2027 Marketing budget. All three boards are in prime locations to reach locals and visitors to the island.
