Description

Cowen Industrial LLC has requested a water and sewer agreement for Hill Durrence Townhomes, a development consisting of 121 townhomes on Fort Argyle Road in the southwest quadrant service area and is in Aldermanic District 5. The water and sewer systems have adequate capacity to serve this 121 equivalent residential unit development. The Water and Sewer connection fee totaling $1,049,675 is based on the proposed water consumption and shall be paid by the developer prior to the release of any water meters. This agreement is also for a not-to-exceed cost of $614,800 to be paid by the City for the Engineering Design of a regional Lift Station and 2 Forcemains across the property. The Lift Station and Forcemains will be a part of the City’s regional planning efforts to ensure sewer capacity is available for the expected growth in this service area. The agreement is consistent with policy directives given by the Mayor and Aldermen and has been reviewed and approved by the City Attorney for legal format.
