| Description Recommend approval of Contract Modification No.1 for Savannah Police Department’s Forensic Garage with Johnson-Laux Construction in the amount of $11,478.83. The original contract was for the renovation of the new Savannah Police Department complex on Edwin Street and included a laboratory, a handicapped restroom, and two garage bays with pneumatic lifts. The contract modification is necessary for the additional concrete work, requested repairs to the exterior façade, additional work to the electrical system, and requested door hardware. This contract was originally approved by Council on May 9, 2019 in the amount of $285,737.14. The total amount of this contract to date, including this modification is $297,215.97. | |
