Description This contract is for an inspection vehicle from Environmental Products Group, Inc. in the amount of $262,875. The inspection vehicle will be utilized by the Stormwater Department to perform regular stormwater pipeline inspections and maintenance throughout the City of Savannah. Stormwater infrastructure requires regular maintenance to properly assess the condition of the pipelines. These inspection vehicles are unique to the City's Fleet in that they use Closed Caption Television (CCTV) to precisely locate blockages, leaks, breaks, tree roots, corrosion, illicit connections, and other damages in the stormwater pipeline.
This procurement is being made through a cooperative purchasing agreement with Sourcewell for Sewer Inspection & Maintenance Equipment. Cooperative purchasing is authorized as an appropriate procurement method in Division 10 Section 4-4152 of the City of Savannah’s purchasing ordinance. The competitive bid process was not utilized, as the Sourcewell contract provided reasonable pricing compared with previous years. This contract expires on January 17, 2026. Terms: Net 30 days.
