Description

This contract is for the procurement of Truman Linear Park Trail Phase 2B construction services from JHC Corporation in the amount of $8,193,540. The Truman Trail Phase 2B project is part of the Tide to Town system and begins at 52nd Street at Bee Road and ends at DeRenne Avenue near Jenkins High School. Once Truman Trail Phase 2B is complete, it will link the Lake Mayer Park Trail to the Police Memorial Trail, creating approximately 7 miles of continuous off-road multi-purpose trail that will attract a diverse group of pedestrians and bicyclists for recreation and commuter use. The trail will be a 10-foot wide, shared-use concrete path with a timber bridge ditch crossing and includes an 8-foot-wide protected, shared-use path across the 52nd Street bridge over Truman Parkway. An additional general allowance of 5% has been added to the bid amount to cover unforeseen conditions found during construction.

The bid was advertised, opened, and reviewed. Delivery: As needed. Terms: Net 30 days.
