Description

This contract is to procure the rebuilding of two (2) primary clarifiers from Brentwood Industries in the amount not to exceed $104,316.  This contract is a sole source because Brentwood is the original manufacturer of the existing clarifiers and would be the most cost-effective.

The President Street Water Reclamation Department requests to rebuild two primary clarifiers. Currently, the plant is operating on a single clarifier without any backup, which risks the reliability of the treatment process. The primary clarifiers are the first step in the wastewater treatment process and are essential for removing heavy solids. These tanks are equipped with a series of components, including rakes, chains, wear strips, sprockets, and bushings. Primary clarifiers play a vital role in reducing the overall load on downstream treatment processes, improving the efficiency of the entire treatment plant, and helping to meet environmental discharge standards.

Terms: Net 30 days. Delivery: As requested.
