| Description Recommend approval to procure 17 Danfoss variable frequency drives from GoForth Williamson, Inc. in the amount of $51,523. The Public Works and Water Resources Department uses variable frequency drives to control the flow of sewage through pumps and to help wastewater treatments plants achieve the required flows necessary to operate effectively. These drives will replace those currently in use that are no longer available for purchase on the active market. This is a sole source because the City’s Public Works and Water Resources Department has standardized on this type of drive and it is only available from this source. Goforth Williamson is the only authorized supplier in this region for these materials. | |
