| Title 28. Authorize the City Manager to Execute an Annual Contract for Crushed Stone with Martin Marietta Materials in the Amount of $120,000 (Event No. 7500) | |

| Description Recommend approval to award an annual contract for crushed stone to Martin Marietta Materials in the amount of $120,000. The Mobility Services Department will use this material for daily departmental activities, such as grading unpaved lanes and stabilizing unpaved surfaces. The materials will also be used in most City utility repairs, as well as in the stabilization of cobblestone and Belgium block on River Street and approach ramps. This event had a 20% DBE goal. The recommended bidder did not submit DBE participation, but did fulfill the good faith effort obligation set forth by the Office of Business Opportunity. The contract term expires on December 31, 2020. This contract will have three additional available renewal options. | |
