Description Petitioner, Jason Hagen, on behalf of Vaden Automotive Group (Vaden) has petitioned to have a portion of City right of way (ROW) declared surplus and available for sale. The requested ROW is a section of a service frontage road at 10421 Abercorn Street (in front of the Vaden Nissan automotive dealership). Georgia Code 32-7 provides authorization for municipalities to dispose of surplus ROW “which is no longer needed". Such property is offered first to adjoining property owners. City Code 6-105 also authorizes the Mayor and Aldermen to sell surplus ROW to adjoining property owners. | |
