This contract is for the replacement and installation services of a splash pad at Sunset Park with Great Southern Recreation c/o WaterPlay Solutions Corp., in an amount not to exceed $124,100. Splash pads are zero-depth aquatic play features that spray or jet water, providing a safe, inclusive, and interactive recreation experience. The proposed splash pad will include unique play components, full automation, and ADA-compliant design, ensuring accessibility and ease of operation while minimizing safety risks associated with standing water. This project enhances neighborhood park amenities, expands family-friendly recreation options, and supports increased park use during warmer months.

Pursuant to Section 2-4152 of the City’s Purchasing Ordinance, the City may procure goods and services through a cooperative purchasing agreement. The Sourcewell contract used for this procurement is Great Southern Recreation c/o WaterPlay Solutions Corp., Contract #101625-WTR for outdoor and indoor aquatic play equipment and site amenities and it expires on December 17, 2029.
