Staff issued a Request for Quotations (RFQ) from October 31, 2025, through November 1, 2025, for qualified firms to provide secondary broadband services to the airport. The scope of services for broadband services required a scalable, high-speed internet service (with fiber as the preferred medium), capable of supporting bandwidth adjustments up to 5 Gigabits symmetrical. Comcast will furnish all equipment, labor, materials, management, and infrastructure necessary to deliver secure, high-quality secondary broadband connectivity independent of the Commission as a supplemental service. This service will enhance network reliability, improve operational resilience, and ensure continuity of services in the event of an internet outage. The initial service level was specified at 2 Gigabits per second symmetrical.
