Description Recommend approval to execute a deductive Final Project Close-out Amendment for Johnson-Laux(A) in the amount of -$2,620.13 (deduct) for the Cedar Street Streetscape Improvement Project. The Cedar Street Streetscape Improvement Project included an ADA compliant sidewalk, new curb and gutter and concrete lane aprons on both sides of the street, stamped concrete crosswalks, traffic signs, landscaping, minor drainage modifications and two blocks of street repair/resurfacing. This work was located in the Edgemere-Sackville neighborhoods along Cedar Street from DeLesseps Avenue to the 52nd Street Lane and was substantially completed in the first quarter of 2020. The final project punchlist item, which was for the acquisition of property easement, was recently completed. The Easement Agreement was approved by Council on December 22, 2020. This final amendment is for the Contractor’s share of a sewer lateral repair made by a City annual contractor, a deduction of $2,620.13. This issue did not reveal itself until after the second contract amendment, which was intended to be the final. S.C.
