| Description Recommend approval to award an annual contract for tree root damage repair services with J.T. Maddox Concrete Experts LLC primary contractor and SABE Inc. as secondary contractor, for up to $700,000. The services will be utilized by the Mobility Services Department to repair sidewalks and streets damaged by the intrusion of tree roots within the City of Savannah. This contract will allow Mobility Services to repair the defects in the rights-of-way created by tree roots to prevent liabilities to pedestrians and motorists. In addition, it will maximize the life of newly-resurfaced streets by not trapping water so that surface water will get to the storm system. The contracts were bid and awarded through the Savannah First Initiative. They are a one-year contract with three renewal options. L.B.
