Ryan Smith, Petitioner, represented by John Giordano of Thomas and Hutton is requesting a drainage easement be abandoned. This drainage easement, located in the vicinity of Carl Griffin Drive and Chatham Parkway, was dedicated to the City via plat to maintain a drainage swale and pipes for the back half of the property, owned by Skidaway Cattle and Land, LLC. A detention pond is being constructed in the easment areas and the easement will no longer be needed. The abandonment of the easement will facilitate construction of a new project and remove a title encumbrance.

This request for the easement abandonment was reviewed and approved by Planning and Urban Design, Development Services, Greenscapes, Public Works and Water Resources, and Real Estate Services. This item is recommended for approval.
