24. Authorize the City Manager to Approve the Fourth Amendment to a Lease Agreement at 1900 Victory Drive, Suite B5, for the Savannah Police Department's Office of Professional Standards Located at the McAlpin Square Shopping Center.

The City (tenant) currently leases space at the McAlpin Shopping Center located at 1900 East Victory Drive, Suite B-5, where it operates the Savannah Police Department’s Office of Professional Standards. The Landlord has generously offered this space to the City since March 25, 2013 at no monthly rental cost, though the Agreement is currently set to expire on July 31, 2023. The Landlord has agreed to extend the Lease for five additional years so long as the City begins paying nominal monthly rent of $662.67 to cover pro-rata expenses such as real estate taxes, property insurance, and common area maintenance. If this item is approved, new expiration date of the Agreement will be July 31, 2028, and rent payments will begin in August 2023.
