Description The New Hampstead neighborhood is a highly active area of development within the City and requires additional public safety facilities in order to maintain current emergency response times. Figure 8 (Georgia), LLC, has offered to donate a 37.59 acre portion of property at 2000 Little Neck Road (PIN 21024 01007) to the City for public safety and other civic uses. These lands offer a prime location with direct access to Little Neck Road near the intersection of New Hampstead Parkway.
Title work, Phase I Environmental Site Assessment, wetland delineation, and subdivision plat have been performed on the donationed tract. Staff requests authorization for the City Manager to accept donation of 2100 Little Neck Road at no cost to the City, aside from real estate closing fees. Further authorize the City Manager to execute closing documents associated with this donation. | |
