Title 41. Motion to Procure Public Safety Camera Equipment from NetPlanner Systems, Inc. (Event No. 5723)
Strategic Priority N/A
Description Recommend approval to procure public safety camera replacement equipment from NetPlanner Systems, Inc. in the amount of $51,621.98. The cameras are part of the public safety surveillance system that was installed more than six years ago. Due to environmental exposure, the cameras are experiencing problems, including camera failure and poor image quality. The replacement cycle for an outdoor public safety camera is five years. The regularly scheduled maintenance plan has reached its capacity to service the aging cameras and keep them operational while providing a quality image. The replacement cameras will provide improvements to the underlying technology to deliver better images, which will result in dramatically improved video products and image quality.
