| Title 12. Authorize The City Manager to Execute a Contract for Alternative Transportation Services with Savannah Downtowner, LLC (LOCAL) in an Amount Not to Exceed $598,797. The Mobility and Parking Services Department will use the Savannah Downtowner, LLC to provide alternative transportation services between 10:00 pm and 5:00 am within the greater downtown area using vehicles provided by the company. The vendor will be responsible for insurance, maintenance, and upkeep of the vehicles used. | |

| Description This is for an annual contract for Alternative Transportation Services to Savannah Downtowner, LLC (LOCAL) in an Amount Not to Exceed $598,797. The Mobility and Parking Services Department will use this service to provide alternative transportation services to the greater downtown Savannah area using the vendor's vehicles. This will provide transportation services between 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM. The service will be available by downloading a phone application on your phone, similar to ride-sharing services.
This will be a one (1) year contract with four (4) renewal options.
Year one (1) cost: $598,796.04 annually, $49,899.67 monthly Year two (2) cost: $634,724.04 annually, $52,893.67 monthly Year three (3) cost: $672,807 annually, $56,067.25 monthly Year four (4) cost: $713,175.96 annually, $59,431.33 monthly Year five (5) cost: $755,966.04 annually, $62,997.17 monthly
Total cost of the contract for five (5) years: $3,375,469.08 The method used for this procurement was the request for proposals (RFP), which evaluates criteria in addition to cost. The proposals were evaluated based on the proposer’s qualifications and experience, including support capabilities, technical capabilities, references, fees, and Savannah First.
Three (3) proposals were received in response to this RFP. All proposals were reviewed and fully evaluated by a selection committee of City staff.
