Description This purchase is to procure two roll-off container trucks from Environmental Products Group, Inc. in the amount of $342,700. The Sanitation Refuse Disposal Division will use the roll-off container trucks to replace unit numbers #4714 and #4715 which have reached the end of their useful life and are no longer economical to maintain. Environmental Products Group, Inc. was not the lowest bidder but they are the only bidder that is able to meet all of the requirements of the bid specifications. The lowest bidder was not selected due to their inability to meet the requirement of line item 4.1.5 of the bid specifications, which states that the trucks must have either a Cummins diesel engine or a Detroit diesel engine. The bid was advertised, opened, and reviewed. Delivery: As needed. Terms: Net 30 days. The bidders were: L.B. Environmental Products Group, Inc.
