Title 35. Motion to Renew Annual Contract with Dothan Security, Inc. for Security Services at the Industrial and Domestic Water Supply Plant (Event No. 4286) | |

Description Recommend approval to renew an annual contract for security services with Dothan Security, Inc. in the amount of $36,000.00. The contract will be used to provide security services for the Industrial and Domestic Water Supply Plant and Critical Workforce Center, located of Ga. 21 in Port Wentworth. Services will consist of one security guard who will work at the security building at the entrance gate from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. The guard will be responsible for signing in all visitors and deliveries after obtaining proper identification. The guard will notify the employee who the visitor is calling on before allowing entry. If the employee cannot be located at this time, the guard will notify the I&D Water Plant administrative assistant for further direction. The guard shall make a written report of any unusual or suspicious incidents and also inform the control room. This is the first of three renewal options available. Bids were originally received on June 14, 2016. Council originally approved this contract on July 7, 2016. The contract term will be from December 6, 2018 through December 31, 2019. | |
