The Request for Quotations (RFQ) for the Mobile Data Terminals (MDTs) for the Airport Police Department, active from August 19, 2024, to September 20, 2024, and received responses from seven different firms. The solicitation was for 13 Panasonic Toughbook 55 MDTs. ProLogic ITS, LLC was the low bidder. MDTs are used by the Airport Police Department to enhance their operational efficiency and situational awareness. They use them to get real-time updates from the Communication Center, such as details, locations, and the nature of incidents they are responding to. Additionally, they are able to conduct record checks, write reports, and communicate directly with the Communications Center, as well as other officers.
